Good Morning…

Spring must be coming soon; after all, it is March now. It has been a terribly long and trying winter with cold and snow and wind every day for so many long months. I, personally, am ready to get outside and dig in the dirt, attempting to grow things in my tiny garden. I often wish I had the God-given green thumb that my late daddy had. He could grow anything–flowers, vegetables (even okra though I never understood that so-called vegetable and I love all other vegies). He raised all this food with love and care. Perhaps it was an example of how he raised his own children with such love and care and compassion. And then turned this love to his grandchildren as they came into the world. If only everyone would love and care for their children the way he did. It would only stand to reason that most of the problems we face in this world would just go away–or never come in the first place. Let us continue to pray that we can all show love and concern for our own children and for the other precious children of the world. God give us strength to do this!
